I know your feelings about getting an enema for the first time from the adult bag ... but unlike you, Tommy, we never talked about enemas in school, although we all knew everyone got them in the "good old 60s."
I was in the fourth grade when mom set aside the bulb syringe and decided I was big enough for the bag ... After getting undressed in the bathroom, I watched her prepare the big red bag, then laid across her lap as she applied the petroleum jelly to my butt, pushing her finger inside which she had never done when I got enemas with the bulb ... it was a shock, but it felt good, so I didn't say anythig.
the long nozzle felt sorta good when she pushed it in, but the warm soapy water entering was obviously different from the strong squirts from the eight-ounce bulb syringe ... and as the water entered, a got a strong feeling of something other than the enema, but at the time I didn't realize what it was. It was just a different feeling.
I took almost the full bag ... and as I was evacuating, mom prepared another soapy enema which I took ... it was amazing how it felt and what came out.
After that, I got several clear water enemas ... after takig the last one, mom said I should probably stay in the bathroom, maybe take a shower, because I'd probably get more urges to expell more water.
She was right. I think I stayed in the bathroom for about an hour ... expelling at least a half dozen more times. It was a different feeling using the bag instead of the bulb ... I liked each for different reasons. In fact, once mom left out the 16-ounce (?) adult syringe she had and when she said I needed an enema, I asked if she would use that one ... she did ... that too, again, was a different feeling, a really good feeling.
Today, I prefer the bulb syringe when my wife and I are exhanging enemas ... but I use the bag when self-administering.
