 Many of the guys and girls I know received their enemas over their moms lap. How many of you experienced this and if not OTK, what postion was used. Id also be curious as to what age the otk postion was used and then what was used, For myself, my mom gave me and my brother OTK enemas till we were 15. Then she switched to knee.chest which was even worse! No modesty at all!!

Can't ever remember having an enema OTK, although I don't think I got my first enema until I was in grade school (I was a 60s GS girl).
Mom would let us (my two sisters, brother and me) pretty much select how we wanted to receive an enema. My brother preferred standing up, hands on the edge of the bath tub; us three girls usually got ours in the bedroom, laying on our tummies. I once took an enema on my back, legs pulled up, but didn't like it ... too hard on the legs and arms.
When I was a teen, mom let us self-administer (or my sisters and I would administer to each other) and I found that standing up, hands on the tub or vanity, was now my preferred position.

Over moms lap is the only way I knew enemas were given. Seemed mom could control me better this way. My cousins got them this way also. I also had a friend in grade school who got enemas, he also got them over his mom's lap. I think that was the preferred way for kids under 10 back then.

I got quite a few over the lap while growing up. It wasn't until I was 14 than a different position was used. That was when I graduated to bag enemas. I got those in the knee-chest position kneeling on a towel on the bathroom floor. I have to disagree with Richard regarding the lack of modesty when getting the enema in the knee-chest poristion. I was always made to kneel facing away from my mother as she was seated on the closed toliet seat behind me. The bag would be hung from the towel bar and she would have the hose and nozzle in her hand. I always kept my knees together when bent over and I am sure that she could not not see my front. Betweeen the ages of 10-13, I am sure that she felt my stiffness while over her lap. I soon realized that bag enemas in the knee-chest position did not have the same sensations as the bulb syringe ones did though.

Enemas in the knee-chest position brings memories to me and make me feel like a child again. The only difference is that I was ordered to spread my knees so my aunt and whoever was there saw everything, but I with the enema going soon I was more concern about the cramps and sensetions rather than the fact that they same me spread and naked in the knee-chest position

Never over the knee or lap. Enemas were always given from an enamel can in left side position. A nightgown and a bathrobe (or dressing gown) gave modesty - its wonderful to receive an enema withour being naked.

I may have gotten some OTK when I was very young but I don't remember them. All enemas I remember from mom were with me leaning over, hands on the edge of the tub. Two squirts with the bulb and it was done. I do remember one at grandma's with her bag when I was about 10. I was on my back with knees up until the nozzle was in, then I could put my feet on the floor.

I did get a few ememas OTK guess i was about 5 to 7 yrs when i got them like that with the bulb syringe, After that it was just lay on the left side on a big landry table we had in the basement for that hotwater bottle combo syringe which would have been sims postion.

We, my twin-bro and me, got in OTK until about 10-11. Then, mom changed our position because we become too big for her lap, and we got on the back with bent and spread legs till 16+.

I got all my enemas the same way from when I was 4 til 14.
I leaned over the toilet. My head resting on my folded arms. Mom held the bag in her left hand and she held the nozzle in place with her right. I liked to look between legs and see the red hose swaying and I could see the nozzle when Mom pulled it out.

It was always over OTK when my mom or sister gave me an enema. From 4 until I was about 12 it was always that way, except when I was sick, then I was usually given an enema in bed covered by a rubber sheet on my back. After 12 it was usually on my side or on my back. My mom would give me the enema on my back with my legs spread apart and bent, while my sister would hold the bag when I was given an enema in bed. My stomach was always rubbed by either my mom or sister. I could hold more that way and was more relaxed. When my mom wasn't available, my sister would give me the enema, who was several years older than me. She had started giving me enemas when I was 4 and continued doing so through high school. I was always given enemas while naked, and there was never any problems at any time with this procedure.
My mom liked to give me loving and comfortable enemas, as did my sister, who enjoyed giving me my enemas.

I think mom gave me two or so bulb enemas OTK as an infant and toddler. But at 4 I graduated to an enema can, with the treatment administered first in the diapering position and later on the left side on my bed.

I got them OTK from mom using a bulb until I was 8. At my aunts' I got my first bag enema from mom also OTK. That was a disaster. I got a bad cramp, out popped the nozzle like a champagne cork and I sprayed like a fire-hose. Big mess.
Back home, future enemas were delivered from a bag with me lying on my back in the tub with my feet on the wall next to the water taps. After about a year with no more accidents, I was allowed to be on my back on the bathroom floor.

Laid over auntie lap with pants down to my ankles. Mom holding the bag and auntie putting tube in.

mom's regular enemas giving: me laying over toilet my head down near floor holding radiator for support.
My pant & underpants around ankles. Just waiting while mom fixed the enema bulb.

I started out OTK and received enemas with a bulb syringe, but later, when the bag came into use, I was bent over the edge of the bathtub with my elbows resting on the inside of the tub and my bottom stuck up in the air.

OTK was the position mom would use. I got them starting around 4-5 years old all the way up to 12 years old from mom. I usually got enemas for about 3 reasons, one if mom found stains in my undees, two if I was caught sitting Indian style straining, or if I had a negative attitude and mom thought an enema would take care of my attitude.
Sometimes she would wait until bath time and ask me through the bathroom door that after I was finished bathing to try to go as she was preparing the enema in the kitchen. That was a very nervous time because I knew that if I didn't go, I was gonna be made to go. Mom was use an 8 ounce bulb and a mason jar filled with warm soapy water. She would come into the bathroom with the enema already filled and sit it on the sink counter with the mason jar and walk out. I could get butterfly feelings in my stomach because I just could not seem to go. I would look at that enema and it always seemed to be smiling back because it knew it was gonna find it's home in my rear soon.
Mom would always give two filled enemas in me before I was allowed to go. She would ask me to get over her lap and fill me up with the first enema and ask me to hold it as she refilled the bulb. I would lay there filling the pressure and urge to go as I could hear the enema be sucking the water and soap into it as I waited for the second one to go it.
Sometimes, I didn't won't any enemas at all regardless of the reasons mom would have and that's when my two older brothers were asked to come in and one would hold my arms and the other my legs. Mom then had full access to my rear. No fighting stop the enemas. I would cry out everytime, Get it out! Get it out! I gotta go!! But two squeezes had to go in me before I was able to go.

I think a lot of moms had thier own style for giving enemas & the places were they were givin a thing they probably learned from thier moms & grandmas years ago it just passed down on each generation as the the right way to give it and that included postion & the type of enema appratus to be used, Like my boy hood friend,His mom would make him bend over the bathtub with the bag hanging on the shower rod,I even seen that one day, of course no one knew i was doing the peeping tom thing, But that is what i did see. But yes i will repeat it as the one friend i had told me his mom gave him enemas on the kitchen table and i still find that as very discusting as that is the only time i ever heard of such a place in the home to give a enema and as i said that family had a few screws loose in thier brains to start with, I mean they were really wierd, hey did not even allow thier kids to go outside and play with other kids, like after school they would lock them in thier bedrooms, My friend had to sneak out of the window to come out and play with us other kids & many times he got caught doing that & man when he got back home his dad would beat his ass with a small whip & i often wondered if his mom gave him punishment enemas for that too, No wonder why he did a OD sucide at age 21.....

When sick as a young boy,mom would call me into the bathroom.She would be sitting on the toilet with the lid down.On the sink next to her would be a jar of petroleum jelly with her rectal thermometer sicking up in it.A blue rectal syringe enema bulb would be placed on a towel next to it.Mon would bull down my pants and unterpants in one stroke.I would be lifted over her lap,in the spnaking position.I would watch at mom pulled the thermometer from the jar.Momemts later,her thumb and fingers would part by buttocks and the thermometer would be inserted in my anus and up my rectum.It was always well lubricated and held in place for a full three minutes.Mom would then remove and note the reading.The enema nozzle would be lubricated and inserted up my rectum.Slowly,the contents were injected in my tingling rear.The bulb was remomved and refilled are re-inserted.I was given 3 bulbfulls before I would ask to be let down to use the toilet.After expelling,mom would warn me not to flush until she observed the results.One mom was satisfied,she,herself would flush the toilet and I was free to go.

My first enemas, begining at age 5, were OTK, and Mom used that position for the next 4 years or so with few exceptions. Mom was a nurse, and when I didn't get an enema OTK, she used Sims, knee-chest, on my tummy, and on my back, with and without my legs up. Eventually she'd have my in the Sims position or on my back, but by age 11 she'd given me my own bag and told me to take enemas whenever I needed them. I continued with the Sims position and on my back.

All four of kids received over the lap/knee enemas from my mom even into our early teens.Her reason was that once you where her lap she was in control.She decided how much soap suds enema to give you.How long to lay there with the nozzle in and holding the solution as well to holding you down with one hand and the nozzle in with the other.Once the black nozzle was in you just waited until you finished the bag.If you didnt behave and follow her instructions you got a refill when you finishe on the toilet.

All enemas where given in private.The only time another child was in the bathroom was when I showed a younger one what an enema was.I did this by having my oldest take an enema in front of him to show it didnt hurt.

I received enemas from about 5 to 10 years old. I had two older sisters, the one next to me was 1 1/2 years older and my oldest sister was almost 3 years older than. My sister who was closet in age to me would get an enema when I got one, but my oldest sister would get hers in private, but she was allowed to watch our enemas being given to us. When I got to be about 9 or 10 I didn't want anyone watching, I didn't even want the enema, but they watched anyhow. My sister was as embarrassed as me for some reason even though she was a little older.

All of the 32oz.warm soapy water enemas I got from age 9 through 12 were with me face down on top of the 35" high towel chest in the bathroom, two foam pillows under me elevated my butt,with my legs dangling down the front side edge of the towel chest.This was not uncomfortable,but it virtually immobilized me.The family pediatrician (in 1959) suggested it to my parents, to keep my "fussing" to a minimum..good grief did it ever I could barely tense my bottom up or wriggle/squirm. I could move my hands,even to my butt,but it did not interfere with getting the enema so all my hand waving,etc.,was ignored,and in this position,every enema I got was very effectively administered,as I bawled,hollered,pleaded for "no more".

My enemas were all given to me while I was lying on top of my mother's bed on my back with my legs lifted up and pushed back. My mom held them back with her left hand grasping my ankles, and she then gave me the bulb syringe with her other hand. I remember how she would announce the enema beforehand, and my crying and pleading and protesting would start. She would be spreading towels over the bed while she said, "Come over here and pull your panties down and get ready to take your enema." Then she would have to put me on the bed herself anyway and would pull my panties down while I struggled and cried. Then up went the legs, and I felt so exposed and helpless. It was a good position for her to keep me in control. Then the syringe started to go in, and I cried so hard every time. She never used lubrication. And I hated being face to face like that, with her looking directly at me while I cried as she gave me my soapsuds enema.

Only my earliest enemas were OTK, either by grandma or mom using a syringe. By age 6 it was on the bathroom floor on my elbows and knees. Mom sat on the closed toilet lid and held the nozzle in place while the bag hung from a towel rod. My brother and I usually hugged our pillow or a favorite stuffed animal while the enema was flowing in. My last enema from mom was age 14.

I remember one OTK enema...I was probably 4 yrs. old...then it was always laying on my belly in the tub...with a white towel under me...Mom would hang the enema bag from the towel rack and get on her knees next to the tub. She would take the hose in her right hand and slip the vaseline coated nozzle into my butt. The enemas were usually soap and warm water...most of the enemas that were given to me were because I was plugged up or my mom thought I was plugged up. Once the idea was in her head that you were constipated the soapy enema was inevitable. I would lay there and fuss about it, and every minute or so mom would clamp the hose shut to slow down the flow and to give me a break...it would take about 15 minutes for each enema and a session was usually 2 soapy enemas followed by one or 2 clear warm water enemas...the whole thing took about an hour and when it was over i was exhausted. The bag and hose would be cleaned and left to hang dry over the towel rack for all to see. Enemas were also given to me for a fever, after taking my temperature (in the butt) if I had a fever of 101 or higher cool water enemas were given until the fever was lowered. I didn't like those enemas very much...i can still feel that cool water going in. I had plenty of friends who also got enemas from their moms - when a kid was out of school sick for longer than a day you pretty much could guess that enemas were given. We would ask each other when coming back to school...'so did your mom have to give you an enema?'...you could tell by the look on their face that the answer was yes. I still take enemas pretty often, in fact I just got done with a pretty good one this morning...perked me right up after a long weekend of partying...

I began getting enemas when I was 5. They were almost always OTK whether they were bulb enemas or bag enemas. When I was about 8 I started getting them in other positions - what ever suited Mom's whim. OTK enemas ended when I was about 10, and soon after that I was expected to self adminster unless there was a good reason for her to give me one.

Growing up in the 50s mom placed me over her lap and used a bulb syringe. At age 9 mom had me in the sims position to give the enema with the bulb.

It was over the lap in the bathroom for my enemas through most of grade school. I only recall the enema bag being used, never the bulb that we also had.
After I became too large and heavy to fit on her lap, the enemas I got for constipation were given with me over the edge of the bathtub, with a towel under my hips.
When I was sick the enema followed rectal temperature taking and most of those were given with me prone on a towel on my bed. PJ bottoms down meant only rectal temp, bottoms removed meant an enema was to follow. Those enemas were more comfortable to take because I could stretch out and rock my hips while the soapy solution filled my guts. That made for larger enemas because I could take more in that position, plus by the third day of daily enemas my colon was mostly empty and could hold more liquid without cramping.

im 44 ,my gf is 23. Ive been giving her enemas for 18 mos. she loves the otk position. After that on the bed,face down on her knees butt high. She weighs 105 but can take the whole bag that way,

I got enemas in the OTK position until I was 10 and then I didn't get an enema again until I was 17. (Read my post in response to the thread posted on Wed Jan 18 on this Boad titled"What Age Would Having Your Mom See You Naked Make You Feel Embarrassed?") I got enemas from my mom with a child size red bulb OTK until I was about 6 then mom "graduated" me to the red enema bag with the child size black nozzle on it. The small nozzle was used as a result of my negotiation with her. I plead for her not to give me an enema with the bag when I saw how big it was...to pleasse use the "little enema" on me. Mom explained how I was getting too big for the "Little Enema" but that she would use the "Lettle Enema" nozzle on the enema bag for me. I still got enemas OTK even with the enema bag until I was 10. The next enema at age 17 I got with the adult nozzle. If you haven't already seen that post you should read it. I think you'll enjoy it.

I was always on my back in the diaper position. When I got older I still the same. It was usually the bulb enemas for me. I too got sawtted for acting up. It was otk knee until I put up a fight one time. I kept bearing down so it would be harder for them to insert the syringe. So I was flipped over in the diaper position and spanked for not cooperating. From that point on I always got enemas, suppositories and temperatures taken in that position just in case I needed a little reminder to cooperate.

I to got my enemas over the knee with a bulb until I was 8 yo. Don't know the size of the bulb used by did know that I had to receive 4 of them. When 8 i got very sick and had a very high fever and mom had the doc make a house call, where he asked her to make up a cold water enema and give it to me. When she called me into the bath he informed her that I was too old to get otk enemas and she should use a bag. A bag enema was made and the doc watched as mom gave me the enema on my bed. She was told to give me an enema every night before bed for 5 nights. That night she had my sister give me the enema with her watching and since the doc had ordered it I didn't fight it. Sis gave me my enemas for the next 4 nights and most of them that I needed from then on.

I only had one OTK enema - from my aunt while I was staying with her for a week in the summer. I was 6 then
She had me naked over her knee. She took my Temperature first in the butt while my much older girl cousin fixed the enema bag. My cousin held the bag up while my aunt gave it to me.

My mom used the bulb. She had me lay over her bed usually only with my pajama top on or else a t-shirt. My mom stood by my side giving it to me while grandma held my ankles so I wouldn't kick.

I never received enemas, but did get given many regularly administered suppositories. These would always be inserted with me across mums lap in the changing position, legs up, or knees bent to chest. The suppository would be held in place by mums finger until she was satisfied I was ready to go. Like several other posters, I think I was also kept in that position, so that I could easily receive the almost obligatory smaked bottom for any transgression or acting up - lol.

Mom used a bulb for my enemas as a child. She always gave them over the knee. The bulb size was dependent on age.

hi- my mother gave always gave my sister and the enemas. we always had to lay on her bathroom floor on our backs with ou legs spread apart. it didnt make any difference whether it was a reg. 2qt. enema or a 20 min. ertention enema we had to be in that position.

Mum didn't have enough of a lap to do this. My early enemas (4 to 12) were on a 'changing table', which was, conveniently enough, located in the bathroom. I was laid on my back, and my legs were up or pulled back to my chest. Ohh, the memories...

never had ememas as a child, but when i was in my early twenties, my boyfriend decided to punish me for flirting with his friends. He invited them over to help administer my punishment which consisted of being forcibly stripped from the waist down and held down over a hassack with my bare butt up in the air. his friends restrained me as my boyfriend whipped my bare bum with a birch rod until my cheeks were blazing with color and heat and then they all watched as he inserted an enema into my butt. Mum never gave me an OTK enema. My suspicion is that she didn't feel she had enough of a lap to make it work (too much overhang). Instead, I received most of them in the 'diaper change' ('lithotomy'???) position, that is laying on my back, legs up until insertion, then back down during 'fill'. I was started at the age of 4 and a half, and was 'done' on my old changing table, which I continued to be able to fit until I was around 9. After that, I was 'transferred' to the floor, same position. In that time frame, Mum switched from the syringe to the bag and nozzle. (Perhaps because it became easier when sitting on the floor to only do a single insertion per enema.) I still remember the concentration on her face as she 'wiggled' the nozzle in..

I got an OTK enema once when I was 10 and staying over at my aunts for a week. I still remember it. I had to get entirely naked. (she had me take a bath after) so embarrassing laying butt naked over her lap with my head down and me gripping the chair's leg for support. My aunt took my temperature first in my butt while my much older girl cousin was filling the bulb. Got 3 bulbs I remember while my cousing held my ankles so I couldn't kick.
I remember my aunt had cold hands as she seperated my butt for the nozzle insertion.

Mom's usual enemas was me laying naked over a stool.

I got enemas OTK.Mom would heat a pink fleecy fuzzy blanket buy drapng it over a hot radiator and then draping the heated blanket over her lap.My mother had a red Davol enema bag with red hose and black enema nozzel.Mom would sit on the closed toilet with the enema bag hanging on a towel hook over her shoulder and tell me to come and lay on the niece warm blanket so mommy can give you a good soap suds enema to clean your bowels out.I loved the gentle way mom gave the enema and the wounderful smell of the hot soft fuzzy blanket and the smell of Ivory and the rubber enema bag,and the sent of mom.I would give anything to go back to those times in the bathroom with mom her warm fluffy blanket and soap suds filled enema bag getting a loving enema.

Up until I was 5 or 6, all my enemas were given while I was in the diaper position, with a bulb syringe. Seemed like my mom and the clinic nurses always used the diaper position for giving me shots and taking my rectal temperature as well at that age. When I got a little older, I remember getting enemas on my left side with both knees brought to my chest. Or at least that's how a hospital nurse gave one to me before surgery when I was 11.

I had enema once when I was 14. I was in a hospital. On the evening before the day my kidney x-ray was scheduled the nurse called me and said she would give me enema as a preparation for x-ray. Moreover, it might be more than one enema as the intestine needed to be perfectly clean. There were two boys and two girls for the same procedure. I got 3 enemas. The first was given in a position on one side. It was very painful and I could not withstand the whole bag. The second and the third enemas were given in a elbow-knee position. That was a bit better in terms of pain but much more embarrassing.

The second boy was about 8 and the girls were about 11-12. Both of us boys saw each receiving enema as returned back from the toilet and the other still was on the table. And moreover we even came across with each other in the toilet. The girls I think could see us when the nurse was leaving the enema room for a moment and the door was open. But we did not see the girls as we're sent to our ward immediately after the procedure and then the nurses started to deal with the girls.

I received a most memorable hospital enema when I was 17 during the 1950s. The afternoon before minor surgery, I got to my 2-person room, was told to undress and put on the short gown. My roommate, another teenage boy left the room when a young (about three or four years older than me) nurse wheeled a cart up next to my bed and told me she was going to give me an enema. She pulled the curtain around the bed and spread out a layer of newspaper on the bed. On the cart was a large white porcelain can with a red, rubber hose and a large black nozzle. The nozzle was coated with vaseline or some other lubricant and laying on a sheet of wax paper. The nurse snapped on the rubber gloves and told me to lie down on my side with my legs drawn up to my chest. She spread my cheeks and slid the nozzle in. I heard the click and felt the warm water flowing up into my colon. She said "breath deep" and started rubbing my lower abdomen. I had large erection and finally could not hold it any longer. I climaxed. I am sure the nurse knew what was happening but she didn't tell anything. When I had taken all of the water, I was walked across the hall to a bathroom to expell.
