Unlikely to happen for several reasons:
A patient can be given an instruction sheet and maybe a 'script for the laxatives and then sent away to do the prep. A colonic irrigation requires hospital space, trained personnel time, and disposable speculums, etc. That costs a lot more money.
Also, there is no assurance that a colonic will get a person's entire colon cleaned out. I know that sometimes, no matter how long the session lasts, the water never gets to my cecem.
A colonic does not get into the small intesting, so poo keeps on coming down. A series of laxatives and fasting cleans you top to bottom, end to end.
If you don't want to take the Miralax/GoLytely/Colyte volume ask your doc if you can fast, take Castor Oil, then have a colonic.
