I never got an actual 'punishment enema' but when we were bad as kids i can remember my mom saying 'do i have to give you an enema to get the badness out of you?'...that straightened us up pretty damn quick. Yes, SED i agree, being sick was punishment enough and the enemas were just another part of an already bad day....but sometimes i was so sick I didn't mind getting an enema...it is amazing how they seemed to make you feel better - i wonder if they are being used enough today? I think kids would be healthier overall if they were given more enemas...call me crazy, but i think they work wonders...

Bo, that's the sort of thing my parents would have said - we all learned the hard way that misbehavior can be a sign of intestinal toxins being absorbed from the exrement we hadn't done.
It made perfect sense when I discovered that Greek parents refer to their kids' excrement as "evil" - "you need a suppository because you haven't done evil for a couple of days"
