Was just scanning this site and the answers to these two is obvious -- to Danny, yes, out family was somewhat like your and was pretty open, and to Fred, yes, there was discomfort, but we didn't make a big thing out of it because sometimes an enema created discomfort and we would say so, just asking the administrator (mom most of the time) to either "stop a moment" or "slow down the flow." Mom obliged.
I was the middle child in a family of five, all the others were girls (Dad said he would go bankrupt paying for weddings, but that's another story ... and no, he didn't ... we all had fine weddings).
We lived rural which gave us lots of options for administering, like outdoors during the warm weather months, using an outdoor privy (everyone in our area still had one to complement indoor plumbing) to expel.
Undressing in front of the others wasn't unique because we often went skinny dipping as a family ... we had a nice swimming pool and the only time we wore swim suits was when visitors came over ... after skinny dipping, wearing a damp swim suit on a coool evening was just awful.
but anyway, the enemas, yes, we each took our turn ... no special order but she picked a different person to be first each time we did the every-other-week enema routine. Even when my two older sister returned home from college for holidays or the summer vacations, the rejoined the family ... sometimes, because mom was busy doing other things, they would administer.
Like Danny, we didn't think too much of it.
Oh, another thing, as a matter of lifestyle, we slept without pajamas ... being naked was just more comfortable, especially during the summer months.
No, we weren't nudists, but we might as well have been because we all thought clothing was just a hindrence, especially during the summer.
