Before medical tests I had to have enemas til I ran clean--My wife did the prep with me and certainly not pleasant A guy at work actually asked me who gave the enemas and i said my wife---another woman went ballastic saying it was demeaning for my wife and i was a selfish person to ask my wife----She clearly thought it was a sign i was a male tyrant----Is her reaction too odd or should a guy just do it himself---I had never had an enema before

all during my teenage years, my mother would give me cleansing enemas as she called then. i would always get one for menstrual cramps, then 2 more during the month to keep my system cleaned out and bowel movements regular. if i was staying with my grandmother she would always give me a retention enema and so would my aunt when i visited her. my mother, grandmother, and aunt all believed in giving enemas to keep you healthly. and this was just 10 years ago.

Response only to your female coworker who butted into your conversation: sounds to me like another person going through life looking for opportunities to be 'offended'.

four people have given me an enema: Mum, an outcall nurse, my wife, and myself; and Phil, I think that the lady's reaction to you getting your wife to help you prepare was extreme. I think it is more important just how your wife felt about it. You had a legitimate need, and you were just asking her to help. Perhaps if she and you enjoyed the enema process, you might consider doing it recreationally. I know not all women do like to give enemas, my wife won't give to me.

Phil, you should've reminded the woman of what a cold, selfish bitch she was. My wife went through the trouble of volunteering to prep me because she wanted to spare me the humiliation of having a female stranger do it at the hospital before my colonoscopy. My wife insisted on me getting checked out because I was having problems, and had no gripes about giving me an enema. The enema wasn't much fun though, but I'm glad it was from my wife, and not from one of the hospital CNAs. Those girls are young enough to be my kids...19 or 20 years old maybe.
