@Sue, I don't think they were really necessary with me either, but that didn't prevent them from being carried out! The dreaded supp would usually follow the check. I'm suprised I was so often constipated as really there shouldn't have been time for too much to build up inside me. If a day went past without some serious action from down there, measures were taken to provoke an induction. I guess I was just scared of going, maybe that caused some internal chemical reaction to solidify my poop! They were always hard, never soft and easy to pass.

to all that have posted-my mother used to make me take enemas all the time when i was a teenager. mother used her folding syringe and had a colon tude attached to it . she would always use latex gloves when lubricating my rectum and would stick her finger way up in me. she could have been checking to see if i was impacted. one night i overheard her telling my aunt that when she was lubricating my 16 year old brother for a enema he ejaculated on her. my aunt just told her that it was normal that he got excited when her finger was against his prostate.
