 I think that discussing my enemas with the neighbor moms 'over the fence' was a favorite topic for my mom to talk about. Also she discused the neighood moms kids enemas with them, too. In fact, back in those days, I knew who and when each kid in the neighbor hood got an enema. It was at least till our middle teen.
