Years ago a bought a syringe from Kristina Amelong's firm and it included a booklet she wrote on enemas. In discussing nozzles she wrote "many people prefer to use a douche nozzle" and she went on to tell of the merits of its use. I'm sure the wording "many people prefer" was intended to reduce her liability in the event a reader injured themself in using one. I have no doubt that she really recommends the use of a douche nozzle for enemas since she mentions that it is only as thick as a finger and that it enables the user to relax better during the enemas since there is little chance of the nozzle's slipping out.

For douche purposes the curved nozzle is easier to use when seated. It also allows better access to the G-spot and prostate.
