Any time you feel like it is a good time to take an enema.
Judging from coments on this board, those who take enemas find a pleasurable aspect to them. I like the warm feeling of the solution going in and the relaxed feeling or the "feel good feeling" afterwards. There is even a sexual satisfaction aspect to the proceedure. YES I beleive enemas are very very beneficial health wise. If it feels good do it.

Thanks to everyone who is responding to the origanal post on this subject. Last night Igave myself a 2qt warm soapsuds enema. I had been constipated more or less for well over a week. For five days I had been having miserable little bowel movements passing only small rock hard pellets about the size of small marbles. Instad of using a glycerine suppossitory or two, at very least,I thought I would try "the mpdern way" using fiber supplements junk like Activia. To make a long story short after five days of that my bowels shut down completely. I tried suppositories for three days with out any results at all. By last night I was miserable. I was so bloated and full of gas that i thought I was going to burst. So i got out my trusty classic red open top enema bag (vintage 1957)
with the red hose and black nozzles and filled 'er up to the brim with warm soapy water and took it all. What wonderful results I got from that enema. What a fraus is being laid on the American Consumer by the manufacturers of the over the counter stuff. There is nothing ... absolutly nothing ... that beats a warm soapy water enema.
