Subject: Visa issues Please help!!

PNG embassy will not grant me a tourist visa because I am a member of the media. They suggest I get the Tourism Authority to be a "sponsoring" agency. I am happy to go this route (but it is $!) but I'm worried it will take a long time and I have my flights already booked for Oct. Anyone with advise how to expedite this type of visa??? Thanks everyone I look forward to seeing PNG!!! bgc
