 I dont remember exactly at which age my brother and I were asked if we wanted to change to armpit. But we preferred the way our parents took their temps - in the bottom.

My mother was relying on the neighbour lady, a nurse, who thought that rectal was always better: I got spanked when I was 16 as I didn't want to have rt and then a suppository over her knees before going to school. Her daughter, my classmate, was there, laughin'...
