's message, "RTs at colonic places" on Friday, April 23, 2010, 05:30: pm
I have had my temp taken rectally at a few different places over the years. I find that by asking a few questions along the line of colonics/fevers and temps taken before and after the colonic will usually get the ball rolling. I have a regular therapist who is an 'Old School' retired nurse, and she has no problems with taking my rectal temperature before and after my colonic. Truth.
Anybody else have the same or similar experiences?

No, and it's never been mentioned. I have been going for colon therapy 2 to 3 times a year for the past six years. Both therapists are RNs. They've taken blood pressure but not my temperature. At times I've been given an enema prior to therapy and/or an implant with a plunger syringe and rectal tube afterwards.

If you are interested in getting you RT taken, maybe you should ask??
If not, that's ok too. Never know until you try.
