What really surprised me was that Nurse Madeline told me that a very large number of her patients are just like the people on this forum. They want to relive the childhood sickroom experiences with everything from rectal temperature takings to breast feeding to suppositories and enemas to nose drops and Vicks VapoRub to anything you can imagine was that part of our lives. You might want to expand your scope, too, where people visit your site.

I hate to say it, but any rectal temperature is old-fashioned by today's standards. Especially with a glass thermometer. Good luck finding anyone under middle age, who will do it for you. I don't think they would know where to begin.

Good one! But I still think there are enough folks out there that wouldn't get that far. I doubt that many people under say, 35-40, have had a rectal temp. taken. It was kind of tabood out of existence during the Clinton-Gore regime.

I disagree with you-I'm 43 and I had my temps taken rectally as a kid and for most people 35-40, that was the same. In fact, I would say that probably most 18-20 something year olds may have gotten their rectal temps taken also. But those 17 and younger may have not gotten rectal temps taken as often because digital thermometers and newer technology plus the P.C. police have put rectal temps out of vogue for society.

Don't you remember, that Mr. Bill didn't inhale that joint? Never had relations with Monica? The Clinton-Gore regime was all about being politically correct, duping the gullible public, chasing skirts, and passing gun laws that don't work. With all the taxpayers dollars being wasted, how could Mr. Bill have been able to accomodate Monica for an RT with his busy schedule? He had too many women to keep up with.
