Mom stopped the RT's when we were about 12 or 14. After that it was done orally. The procedure was done about three or four times a year. For some reason my brother and I got sick frequently. My brother was younger. I enjoyed having it done to me. It gave me a sense that Mom was taking good care of me. I knew my brother was watching it didn't bother me, as he knew that I was watching it done to him as well. For us, it was a normal thing that Mom did for us to keep us safe and healthy, even though we had seen each other's private parts. I hope that answers your questions. Thank you.
