No,that never happened.We did a little fooling around "playing doctor" but we never took each others rectal temperature.We did,however,discuss our childhood rectal temperature experiences and how they felt after my sister confessed to me that mom "put the thermometer in my rear end" when she was home sick one day.I told her of my hospital rectal temperatures at the hands of my nurses while in the pediatric wing.It seemed we both enjoyed the experience,but never tried sneaking the rectal thermometer from the family medicine cabinet.Mom still has it to this day on the top shelf in the back.

I have sometimes taken my sisters' temp rectally - and my sisters sometimes mine. But as we mostly insert it ourselves, we more often give one another enemas.
