here is part 2 of my story hope u enjoy
Part 2
i get some rest then at bedtime mom comes back to take my temp/
Mom: honey i am here to take your temp again before bed
me: FINE but hurry up i want to go to bed feels bad
mom: ok honey over my lap please and we will get it over with
me: FINE
mom: ok honey lay still and it will be over soon i promise
me: ok
mom: i am going to insert it now
me: ok
mom: see there it is all done that was not so bad, your temp is 101.4 like it was earlier.
me: ok, can i go to bed now
mom: yes after u take some fever meds, here take the meds to help with ur fever
me: ok mom goodnight
i have some trouble sleeping that night due to coughing, the next morning my mom comes in to check on me.
mom: hey honey hope you are feeling better.
mom: let me feel your head quick, oh no you are burning up i need to take your temp
me: fine but hurry up i want to rest.
mom: ok honey over my lap please and it will be over soon
me: ok fine
mom: ok honey lay still it is going in now
mom: there all done, lay still while i take it out
mom: honey i need to call your doctor your temp is now at 102.6, that is high, so get some rest while i call your doctor
me: i don;t want to go to the doctors mom
mom: honey sorry but you may have to ur sick and your fever is high
me: Fine if i must
mom: get some rest now
mom leaves and goes and calls the doctor
hello Dr Connors office can i help you?
mom: my daughter is sick and was wondering if i can talk to the doctor please
nurse: sure let me get him
mom: thanks
hello this is Dr Connor how can i help you?
mom: this is emma's mom she is sick and i don;t know if i should dring her in or not
Dr Connor: what seems to be the problem
mom: well yesterday i noticed she was coughing bad and was blowing her nose a lot and took her temp and it was 101.4, then this morning took it again as she was burning up and it was now at 102.6 and she is still coughing bad
Dr Connor: that is a high fever, with a fever that high i will need to see her so i can see what is wrong with her, i can see her in an hour
mom: that will work thanks Dr Connor, i was worried when her temp got higher, even though i gave her meds last night
Dr. Connor: no problem see u in an hour
mom: honey you need to get ready Dr. connor wants to see you in an hour
me: do i have to mom, i just want to rest
mom: yes you do he said with a fever as high as yours he needs to see you
me: FINE
mom: so please get ready so we can go, we need to get you feeling better
me: ok mom
we leave and head to the doctors office.
