Even as a kid and adolescent, I hated being spread open, looked at, exposed and invaded, by anyone for any reason. I had it done countless times at drs by nurses and drs,my parents never did it at home. Even as a kid, Ididnt like the feeling of being forced to do it because I felt really submissive, controlled, humiliated, offended, debased and disrespected. For a grown teen or adult male,it is especially the most personal, private, degrading part of our body and potentially the most embarrassing area to be seen by another, having it invaded or probed really puts it over the top as far as being totally dominated. For males, it puts us in a strangely awkward role of being out of control, submissive etc/unsure how to react which is juxtapose what our normal role is. For boys and younger men, just being told to strip and being naked in front of anyone is enough to produce an erection, also the thermometer could be giving some stimulating to the prostate gland, which is part of our sexual anatomy. The conflict of being physically stimulated by something we find mentally or consciously unpleasant, and associate with being something gay (which it is not), is confusing for many, but remains to be a turn on throughout life, having become 'sexualized' early on. THere is no accounting for what turns someone on. On a continuum, sexuality is as diverse and individual as the number of people in the world.
