If you really felt bad about taking your temperature rectally, you wouldn't do it. And as for others knowing; well other than this board, if you are wise, you'll not bring the subject up with anyone, except perhaps a medical person who you deal with. And if you believe it's the most accurate method, then I would tend to agree. If you feel you will continue to monitor your temperature rectally, it does not make you weird or perverted.

mandi is full of it...she used to be on another website rt something, i cant remember, but she used to make up all kinds of stories. she should have changed her name.

Mart agree.....told me when we chatted that she takes her temp all the time and also does enemas then she comes and posts stuff like this on the forum....such BS!!!! She is just looking for attention.
