I think she is someone who was really into rectal temps she took it out my mouth and told me to lay on my stomach and pull down my underpants which I did but just over my buns to the bottom of my cheeks and she came up and pulled them down to mid thigh or so and snapped the elastic band. At 14 I was the hairiest guy in my class and she spread my cheeks way far open which is the worst thing that ever happened to me and said because of all the hair she couldnt see the opening, so she had me bend one knee up a little which made my butt go up and little and my balls fall down in full view. She swept the hair from side to side and I could feel that cold greasy thermometer tip probing and passing over my opening til it finally poked thru and slowly was inserted to what I am sure was nearly the full length. this nurse kept my buns pulled fully open for the whole process which I really had never had done before. It was cold and tickled a lot and made my spyhncter keep clamping down on the thermometer uncontrollably while I was getting mad cuz she kept telling me just to try and relax but Icouldnt help it. She checked it twice to see if it was ready but didnt pull it out all the way and as I clamped tight I could feel the tip almost come out and as I relaxed it went in more. She checked it and reinserted all the way. I think she was really into RT and watching my hole clamp down and squeeze the thermometer. It was the worst embarrassment I have ever had. I never had your experience, but I've known nurses to be either very sweet, or very tough and controlling. You'll find all personality types in every profession. Pediatric patients can't fight back,but adults can. Also, back in the 60's and 70's, there was a famous quote: " When age speaks,youth listens." I guess that I was fortunate, in that I had an old-school pediatrician, who had his office in his home, and worked without a nurse or assistant. He didn't take rectal temps. on me, and I went to him from around age 6-16. [ Post a Reply to This Message ]
