 I´ve added some more pics in the gallery above. The short
stubbed with a yellow scale has a pear shape but it´s also
flattened. I don´t know if this one is for infants?

Some japanese brands appeared in the late 80´s when the east german TWG( Geraberg)closed. The CS (czech) factory
also closed around 1990.

The last picture in the set are two traditional Swedish
thermometers from 1968 and 1960 respectively.
