LP i agree with u when i get sick with a cough it is hard to keep the thermometer in my mouth cause of coughing bad. i do my rectal temp at home cause of that and i also hope that a bad cough would warrent a rectal temp at the doctors but it never does. i am to shy to ask them to do it that way, so hoping one time i go in there coughing so bad that they have no choice but to take it rectally. so as for me no rectal temp at the doctors. rectal temps r by far the most accurate so i think that doctors should use that method always. i hope i get a rectal temp at the doctors next time i go in for being sick.

If you want to have your temp. taken in the butt by a "doctor" or "nurse," then have a friend dress up in the appropriate outfit, and do that for you. That's about as close as you are going to get to exploring your fantsy. A genuine professional wouldn't risk crossing that boundary.
