At least in my experience, doctor's offices are very busy and very professional. We will never know if a nurse or doctor secretly would like to take someone's rec temp, but it just isn't done anymore in that setting. They are not there to satisfy our sexual fanatasies plus they would be risking their job and possible legal action if caught. I've checked through the draws in the exam room waiting for the doctor to come in and have never found a rectal thermometer. It's a thing of the past. We will have to just go on just satisfying our own desires or if we are lucky, finding a partner to play with us. [ Post a Reply to This Message ]

Some offices have disposable rectal thermometers and some don't. If they don't have them, she won't use an oral thermometer to take a rectal temp. If they do have them, I don't see why she wouldn't respect your wishes. You have a valid point. Not only do they make coughing worse, but by coughing a lot you can get inaccurate temperatures. Good luck. :), You can have your temp taken anyway you want. Just ask them and it shouldnt be a problem. and your request isn't unreasonable Next time you have a cough, you can request a rectal if you prefer it done that way and be ready to quickly drop your pants and immediately assume the Sim's position. so LP as u can see if i just ask then i should get what i want. and i would think that the nurse would not want to take an oral if coughing can comprimse the temp reading.
