Question is...What is RIGHT for you??? Meaning, what are you looking for a FEVER??? 3x you tried and it registered 3 different temperatures??? Why would your child have to RESORT to the RECTAL TEMPERATURE because you SET the STANDARDS??? Next time give your CHILD the ability to mature and give them PRIVACY. Treat your CHILDREN what is DECENT and not what you were raised with. That's where PEDOPHILIA derives from. So does INCEST. So the REAL Medical Standards for RECTAL Temperature taking is for INFANTS and NOT for TEENS nor ADULTS unless it was a DYING NEED. DETRIMENTAL!!! Where I live, that is considered against his will, and that's SODOMY. If your TEEN says NO...NO is NO!!! Don't ever make your child FEEL HUMILIATED 'cause he will build-up ISSUES that you don't want to deal with. Good luck!! LISTEN to your children because they are an image of you. So treat them how you would like to be treated.
