Probably around 7 I started to get embarrassed being seen in underpants or naked around them, but having my temp taken was far more embarrassing than just being seen naked.

Brent, you are right. My parents stopped taken our temp rectally, when I was 10, but sister 8. Then, we were bathed together by mom sometimes still, but RT in front sister was embarrassed for me already.

Bathing/showering together was usual for us and our cousins. 2 or 3 of us in the tub or shower. With the shower, we often lined up, with one of us stepping in as another stepped out.
