Great story DB. Glad you posted to tell of past child rt and shot moment. Everyone adds messages here to express their neutral, good, bad experiences memories of doctor visits. (Rectal temps and bottom shots). You have done well with your comments. No need to feel ashamed or embarassed. Everyone went through the same procedures. Some remember, some do not. The events though not always expected, tend to happen before the young patient realizes it. I personally want to welcome you to the group. We look forward to, and welcome more of your experiences.

I never did much care for getting the shots in the bottom. However,having temperatures taken in my bottom were wonderful anytime, even at the doctor's office.

the trip to the doctor's office ALWAYS included RT and injections in the rear. We had the same doctor for many years. I hated to be bent over mom's knee for the RT and shots. Felt like I was gonna get spanked.
