I was about 7 I think, my mom and I went to visit my aunt and cousins one day back in the 70's. My little cousin, who was about 5 years old had to have her temp taken and was giving my aunt a hard time and fussing. My mom volunteered me to show her that it wouldn't hurt and would be fast. My older cousin was there also, she was about 9 I think at the time, and was giggling as my mom took my pants down and took my temp across her lap. It did work, my little cousin let my aunt take her temp, but she still fussed a bit.

Gewoon even kijken hoe het met je is zei mijn oudere broer, hij pakte een thermometer en stak hem in nijn bibs, mama doet dat niet zei ik en hij zei dat klopt maar ik wel.
