My son was not feeling well this morning and when I took his temperature orally it was 96.8 exactly leaving it in long enough , I told him, that I needed to get a rectal reading because his oral one was low and I used a glass one and a digital one both rectally and they both, by a small difference read the same reading as his oral. what should I do to raise his body temp, if it is low.

At least they're all saying the same thing. If he's not feeling good, I would just have him rest, make sure he's comfortable, and drink plenty of fluids - the usual stuff if his temp was too high. 96.8 isn't all that low, so I wouldn't be too worried about it.
