 Never had my gyno take my rectal temp. I had my yearly two months ago and to my surprise she did my first rectal exam. Was not expecting this. She finished up with my pelvic and then started changing her gloves and I wondered if maybe that's what was coming. Then she said I am going to do a rectal exam are you ok with that? I said yes and she placed her finger on my anus and slowly inserted it. I have wondered for years what it would be like to have this done by a real doctor. She was very thorough, I loved it and will look forward to the next one. Might use a suppository before my next exam.
