short info i was born 2/27/74 in texas and was born with a hart defect i was russhed 3 hr away to.
Childrens Medical Center Dallas Texas were i spent the next 7 weeks YES 7 weeks.
the sergery was unable to correct the defect and i was said and sent home to die .
i beet the oods despite the words of all the doctors.
as i spent the next 7 or so weeks recovering the time spent started a life long love of YES the temps/suppositories watching fraight trains/big rigs/airplanes/hellacopters and all sots of autos.
1st temp i can recall i can recall it as if it happend last week .
i was in my corner room watching alll the above going round and then someone in white walked in the room.
the person may have been a dr/nurse/assistant/orderly or what ever .
i remember being rolled on my tummy then the cool air on my botom as my undies were slid down and the gown opend up.
then somting COLD/SLIMMY and funky being pushed in THAT of corse was the old old rectal glass thermometer.
the person talked with my mom MAY SHE REST IN PEACE.
she died 5 years ago this last augest of coloncanser .
i remember feeling the person placing ther warm hand on my bottom to hold the thermometer in place after the time was up the strange feel of the thermometer being slowly removed then.
my momj and this other person said somting and THEN the feel of somthing MUCH bigger being pushed in me THAT was a PHENAGREN suppository .
after it was slid in place and was in ther for good the feel of my undies being pulled up and my gown being closed and me being rolled back to my back soon after i feel asleep

No, I was too young to remember my first rectal temp, I do remember subsequent those when I reached about 6 or 7. Very few people can remember events that happened to them before the age of 4 or 5 and even those memories are cloudy and only bits and pieces of what actually happened can be remembered.
I had read on the net that there are some people that can remember when they were born!! Hard to believe, but these people can describe exactly what happened. To me sounds like a crock of sh*t.
