I agree with Cyndi. Glass is best. However digital is more than likely most accurate as it is used in hospitals and medical centres today. But again this could be due to safety as glass thermometers are fragile and contain mercury.
I still prefer glass though. With washing your always tying to be careful not to get water into the battery of a digital. Glass is more confortable in the rectum also. The glass always slides nicely in. With digital its plastic and bulky as you move up thr probe this isnt very comfortable in the rectum.
