 What difference does it make if he had any liquids prior to a rectal temp? Unless he had an enema, liquids would make no difference!

I would have retaken his temperature and if it was still normal then wait to see if other symptoms appear. This has happend several times with my kids. paul

would you take mine and take my temperature rectally and lube the thermometer with vaseline by using a mercury one and digital one
