Did the nurse/doctor ever wipe the excess lube from your anus? yes-the nurse wiped me-after the thermometer was placed into the sink 9. As a child, did you ever refuse a rectal temp at the doctors office? I never refused the rectal temp-it was a same procedure that mom used at home 10. What was the cut off age for rectal temps at your pediatricians office? age 12-but I ask mom and the nurse's if I could continue with rectal temps-the request was allowed 11. Did you like going to the doctors office? there were time's I didn't want to go-but I knew I wouldn't be sick afterwards-it was a great clinic 12.
