I is going to be hard to find, you don't know if it was a lead post or a comment on a lead post. You did not say how long ago it was.
When a topic has an addition posted t goes to the top of the queue. There are only 10 pages of history for the forum. If a lead post does not change for a long time and the forum is very busy adding new topics and modify existing topics so they grow larger the topic will go back to near page 10. when page 10 reaches it size/topic limit old post attire off the forum.
They take recovery saves of the server but but this is for catastrophic recovery, not individual file restores.
There is a means if you know and exact textual string to look for using the Control F function Insert you text string in the space open each topic on a page and search for the string. I don't thing you remember enough to construct an exact character literal string for a compare function so you are likely not going to find it. and remember that this forum is dynamic enough the pages are changing while you are trying to do a search.
That is one of the reason that Google and Yahoo images of a topic are worthless on Voyforums, the are saving a location when the information was at a fixed point in time but that is not necessarily where they are now.
So Basically the Voy software is stacked against you and you don't know enough about the topic use automated search techniques on this site.
