 I agree with Jennifer. Having a thermometer put in your bum isnt painful or uncomfortable. However if it is done the wrong way it can be quite uncomfortable. You should consider trying it. Wheather for fun or otherwise. the sensation is that of a cold tingling one and is very nice. I would suggest you start with a something simple. A shallow insertion, lots of lube and a simple + comfortable position.

However rectal temperatures aren't for everybody. It may be your thing it may not be.

You started a thread on the question of, do rectal temps hurt and what are they like? You've received a number of genuine replies, and some inquiries as to what prompted this concern on this board. Will you at least give us an answer on this? It would be appreciated. Last, speaking personally, I've probably had more rectal temps taken on me as an adult, than a child/adolescent, and with one exception, the procedure never caused me any physical discomfort or angst. So, let's hear from you, OK? Thanks.
