The wording is very similar. The wording on mine is 111-9 TEM-CON "MICH-57" U.S.A. with a vertical 35 below the red tip. The tip is red colored glass and rounded not triangular. The bulb is more elongated then pear shaped. The thermometer is sealed in clear plastic by the manufacture.
