This was many years ago but i still can remember. I must have been about 3 or 4 at the time. My mom took me to the doctor's office cause my stomach was hurting and I had a fever. When we got there, we didn't wait too long cause children got priority. When my name was called my mom carried me into the room. The young nurse, as I remember so vividly, was tall and beautiful with blonde hair rolled into a bun and big, deep-blue eyes. She was dressed in a white uniform dress with the nurses cap. I distinctly remember the sound of her voice. It was a soft, sweet Southern accent. Her voice was almost like a whisper. She asked my mother what was wrong with me and my mother told her I had a fever and complaining about stomach pain. So the nice nurse felt my forhead with her soft hand and told my mom, "ya chald does feel very wam. I'll need ta take his tempa-cha." So she got a white towel out of the cabinet and also a thermometer and the jar of vaseline. She sat down in the chair by the medical desk and said to my mom, "bring ya son ova hee, please." My mom handed me over to her. I was standing beside the beautiful nurse and she smiled sweetly and said to me, "well hello there young fella. What's ya name sweetee?" I told her my name and then she said to me, "I'm gonna need ta take ya tempa-cha. Is that o.k.?" "o.k.",I replied. "Don't wooree son, it ain't gonna hut a bit. I promise ya." So her soothing soft,sweet voice persuaded me. Before I knew it, the next thing she did was put a white towel over her lap then she unbuttoned my pants and pulled them down to my knees. Then she pulled my underpants down to my knees and laid me down over the towel with my knees dangling over her legs. She opened the vaseline jar and then shook the glass thermometer several times and dipped it in the jar. Then she gently spread my little butt cheeks apart with her warm fingers and within seconds she gently pushed the lubed thermometer into my rectum. She cupped her warm hand over my butt cheeks with the thermometer sticking out between her fingers. It took a long time. She gently rubbed my back and softly said, "see little fella, I told ya it wasn't gonna hut. It'll all be ova in just a few mo moments." Shortly after that, she slowly removed the thermometer and read it. "Hmmm. Ma'am yo chalds tempa-cha is elevated...101.2" she told my mother. "When was the last time yo chald had a bowal moovement?" she asked. My mother told her,"3-days." "Oh ma lawd, deeah, yo chald is consta-payted," she said. "He's gonna need a soo-pa-za-toe-ree to q his consta-pay-shen." So she summoned one of the other nurses to bring her a jar filled with suppositories. She did and she opened it for her and pulled one out and put it on a small towel. The nurse spread my butt cheeks once again and pushed this wax object deep into my rectum with her finger. Her finger felt thick as she pushed it into me, then slowly withdrew it. Once her finger was withdrawn, she pressed my butt cheeks together for a few seconds and told me to hold it in for a while until i needed to go to the bathroom. My mother was watching the whole time. The nurse told her, "make shoo-ah he holds it in fo at least fav minuts."
"There little fella, we ah done he-ah. U-ll be all-good in no tom." She wiped my little butthole and pulled my underwear and pants up as soon as i was standing up. She smiled at me and reassured me, "U-ll be feelin bed-uh in no tom, little fella." She told my mom to keep me in the room and wait till I needed to go to the bathroom. She cleaned everything up very methodically and left the room shortly. Soon, my mom took me to the bathroom and the rest is history.
I'll always remember that beautiful Southern nurse with her soft-sweet Southern voice and that lovely smile. Her beautiful face and those big, deep-blue eyes are forever embedded in my mind. What a caring and very classy Southern lady she was.
