I AM A MALE SIXTY TWO YEARS OLD AND I REMEMBER MY MOTHER OR FATHER TAKEN MY TEMPERATURE RECTALLY. I REALLY DID ENJOY LAYING ON MY STOMACH WHILE A LUBICATED RECTAL THERMOMETER WAS INSERTED IN MY RECTUM WHERE IT WOULD IN ME FOR FIVE MINUTES BEFORE IT WAS REMOVED.I ALSO ENJOYED HAVING A RECTAL SUPPOSITORY INSERTED UP MY RECTUM FOLLOWED BY A RECTAL THERMOMETER WHICH WOULD STAY IN ME UNTIL I NEEDED TO MOVE MY BOWELS. I ALSO ENJOYED HAVING MY TEMPERTURE TAKEN RECTALLY AFTER RECEIVING AN ENEMA.

I never had the experience of getting my RT taken in a doctor's office. Wish I had.
Most of the time, mom would take my rt while I laid over a towel on her bed with my PJ's or my pants & underwear down over around my ankles. I still remember how the rt felt going in--cool and very smoothly and how cool (from the vaseline) the the rt felt in me while I laid there.
Mom also took my RT everytime she gave me an enema. The rectal tip from the enema bulb felt just like the rt going in until mom squeezed the bulb.
Wish I was back in my youth. Mom wasn't aware of my cravings. I did con her many times into getting an enema.
