Subject: FB Trivia Update: Most #1 Country Hits

This might be better suited for the American Country Countdown page, but since last weekend's Flashback from 16 years ago mentioned the acts with the most #1 country hits, I thought it noteworthy to post the current standings in that category: Conway Twitty is still the leader with an even 40, Merle Haggard maintains his second place with 38, the man that's now in third place could conceivably catch the two guys ahead of him: George Strait is up to 36 country #1's (his most recent was two years ago) and still cracks the top ten quite often, so ol George just might totally rewrite this page in the record books in the next few years.
