Thanks, Scott...you have confirmed my worse suspicions about oldies and classic rock radio. I've sat in a couple tests myself and did what I could to promote the seldom heard songs. A lot of good it did since "Unchained Melody" is still heard daily on our local oldies station.

No better reason to spin the old AT40s. Not only do you hear several forgotten songs, but the familiar stuff is heard in the context of its time. Sometimes you lose perspective with a worn out song... it no longer brings back memories of when it was a hit because it is played so much or in a movie or commercial.
