Modern religion is [meeting people where THEY are at] Numbers equal souls, donations allow for outreach such as food pantries, clothing, housing and help with utility bills that the church and NOT the government should be doing. It takes people to make things happen and money as well. I don't have a problem with churches growing and meeting the needs of their communities. Those in the church with mechanic skills helping single moms keep their vehicles running. People with electrical skills helping those with poor wiring make sure they are safe. I guess it is - is the glass half empty or half full - are they really just lemons or the making of lemonaide.
