My point was that we must be careful what information we accept and utilize to form our thoughts, beliefs and opinions. I am of the opinion that what passes for news on network and cable is entertainment. Elements of current events designed and packaged for the consumption of a specific demographic is what these programs are based on. This foundation of programming, is by it's very nature something other than news journalism, or an unbiased presentation of material. I further contend that claiming bias only exists in programming directed at a demographic other than ones own, indicates a lack of critical thinking or even common sense.
