Subject: Are you aware of the

"customary gratuity payments" made to the widowed or heirs of Congress? The amount is equal to the Congressperson's annual salary. Now there's a bit of budget folly that should be cut. Social security pays a 250. death benefit to the rest of us and the widowed and heirs of Congress get a years salary plus the 250. Horse puckey.
