Author: congrats to all
Subject: I read it differently. They aren't saying kids don't deserve to celebrate achievements, but comparing it to a previous event when this event never happened before is misleading.
In reply to: Get. Over. Yourself! 's message, "You are pathetic and immature! US Nationals may not be your cup of tea, but for many of us, it's a big deal. You don't like the congratulatory posts? Easy remedy: IGNORE & move on!" on 17:43:08 07/10/21 Sat

Just be honest. Getting top ten at nationals is amazing but 50 girls U16 can post that accomplishment. 10 per split plus 10 prelim plus 10 trad set. Are you telling me you wouldn't find it odd if someone who placed 5th in trad set presented it as being the 5th best dancer in all of the USA?

By the way, calling someone pathetic IS immature. The Good Book says to treat people the way you'd like to be treated, more or less. (Your "easy remedy" is a great idea, though".
