What my daughter has been told is to make sure she's eating ENOUGH! You can't build muscle if you're not eating enough calories...she is supposed (at 5'7") to be eating 2200 calories a day! She never gets that much in, though. Also, she was told half your body weight in water plus 16 oz for every hour of workout that day. Best of luck to you! :-)
