Author: dresses fit differently
Subject: Get as much info as possible. Get pictures of the dress on with measuring tape and measure your daughter exactly the same. There isn't really an end-all, be-all answer to this, unfortunately. My daughter once outgrew a dress lengthwise and we ended up purchasing a dress that was 1/2 inch shorter than her original one but was the perfect length on.

  • Don't take the dancers height into consideration, go by the back length measurement first and if that measurement sufficiently covers your daughter, it should be fine. My dd was 5'2" and her dress was around 32", we sold the dress to a dancer who was 5'4" and it fit her perfectly. Ignore the height. (NT) -- -, 14:38:06 06/13/17 Tue
