Subject: Venues- yes. Hotels- no. At least not at a decent price. The WR has looked at San Diego- none of the hotels are willing to go under $300/night because they know they'll fill up with something no matter what. The hotels are the big problem
In reply to: ?? 's message, "Clearly above has not been to WR! There are PLENTY of venue large enough to host. LA, San Francisco, Seattle, Vancouver BC just to name a few!! I can only think of two times Nationals has been on the West Coast. Has the WR been offered to host and they choose to have it in a different region? That makes no sense?" on 06:47:58 06/16/17 Fri

  • SoCal native, thank you. And know exactly how expensive it is to run anything on the West Coast. From additional taxes and surcharges on just about everything? Some of you who live in the WR bubble have no clue. You are used to the cost and expenses. We found Montreal the least in years. Anaheim, staying local and eating local? Ridiculous! -- some don't fully understand, 14:17:45 06/16/17 Fri
  • As much as the cost difference between a flight for four and gas for the car for four? Travel alone makes up the difference for the patrons. (NT) -- Take turns play nice, 14:22:32 06/16/17 Fri
