Subject: The scholarships are extremely hard to achieve. Dancers also have to be top students, active in community and school, and have a charitable spirit. Not easy to be awarded one, especially the top level ones. To receive those, the student/dancer really needs to excel. Remember not just for HS students, but also college/university level as well.
In reply to: Thanks 's message, "Are IDTANA scholarships based solely on academics it are there other criteria as well? ie volunteering etc" on 14:14:14 07/08/17 Sat

Dancer/student doesn't need to attend a big name school or have a fancy intended degree, either.

The committee has a specific rubric they follow to narrow down the candidates and if an applicant doesn't meet the criteria in a category, he/she is removed from consideration.

Be sure to have all the information prepared and cover everything.
