Author: But it can be tough on family
Subject: Worlds at easter, nationals over the 4th, and O over thanksgiving (for some regions) - it's easier to book out the required rooms at a better rate, and means people have to take less leave days from work. It's a choice, and a sacrifice we make if we want to go.
In reply to: spent tons $$ on flights 's message, "Is there a reason NANS is held over the week of the 4th? Seems like one of the most expensive summer weeks to travel. I have not been able to spend the 4th home with family for years . Why this week of all weeks in the summer?" on 11:27:56 07/09/17 Sun

  • I do huge events for my organization and holidays are always out! Fights are a main reason - just too expensive. Even at their "reduced" hotel rates, this event was very expensive, especially food, for our family due to time of year. NOLA is expensive a well. (NT) -- Have wondered too, 11:23:01 07/10/17 Mon
