Subject: Or their teachers post to benefit the school. Either way, top athletes get attention. Nothing wrong with asking where they are. If they retire or just quit, so be it. But don't leave your fans hanging.

What I do see as sad, though, is walking away from art form you've been involved in for so long that you've progressed to the upper levels of competition. It's like a painter never painting again,a musician never playing, or a singer never singing. Dancer never dancing :( Sad.
